Depression

In the valley of despair is where I lay.  Day after day waiting for the strength to climb up over the mountains.  I strain to see what is on the other side of life.  But every time I get close to enough to see a glimpse, the rough terrine pulls me back down.  Lower then I was before and the motivation to move ceases.  The weight of the earth crushing on top of me.  Leaving me even more powerless and feeling completely defeated.

Tutu Tuesday!

yes I did make this tutu today. If you have tulle and can tie a knot, you can do this! If you do not have some extra elastic laying around like me, you can use multiple strands of bungee beading cord.

If you cant sew don’t try this! If you can sort of sew like me, go for it! Remember to gather the tulle first then sew it to the ribbon.

To keep things positive

At the beginning of each day write down three goals and three coping skills to help you accomplish those goals.  This should be enough goals for the day without overdoing it and making things worse.  Also if you have pain regularly, it is wise to rate your pain.

At night write three good and positive things that happened during the day.  And again if you have pain rate it again.  This will help you decide if what you are doing during the during the day is productive.
